Wednesday, July 21st, 2010Will I Am and the rest of the Black Eyed Peas bring back positivism in the world of hip-hop culture. Instead of the assembly line of rappers whose songs were heavily laden with gangsta-style, and violence-driven songs, the group, whose name was then Atban Klann, decided the thread is straight and narrow path even if it meant downgraded by record labels. At the time of her debut, it was as if they were swimming in a vast ocean filled with sharks. The early years of the group were filled with struggles, mainly due to the fact that they stood out amid a crowd of armed and cracked pavement-gangsta rhythm. When she finally heard a pause of Ruthless Records of hip-hop mogul, Easy-Z, were skeptical record companies if their group could then stay afloat and survive the business. On the other hand, found Easy-Z real potential and talent in Will and Apl de Ap I Am, so he made a decision to make compromises in order to take in a group under his label the wings. The recording of the album was, but because of pressure from other producers on the admission of the possibility of flying on the charts, was placed the album on ice. Ruthless felt adamant the group I Apl de Ap is on the market and career Atban Klann was even more uncertain with Easy-Z’s death in 1995. Despite this, the two do not lose sight of their goal, and finally bounced back, as Black Eyed Peas for rigging in another Member State, Taboo. The three members all share the same views when it comes to social issues is, therefore, their projects together to reflect on a positive take on hiphop. However, this was still a deviation from the prevailing style of the period. Soon, socially conscious group Black Eyed Peas, caught himself a huge fan base in Los Angeles, where she played most of their gigs. She stunned both fans and hip-hop music lovers alike regularly with their talented work Mike, dance steps and flair in their performances. HIPHOP về làng
Sunday, July 18th, 2010
